Memorial website in the memory of your loved one
This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Mable White who was born in Nebraska on November 30, 1922 and passed away on October 02, 2007 at the age of 84. We will remember her forever.
When one speaks of our Mother,Gentle thought and mellow feelings flow through my mind. Mable was a marvelous poet and writer. Her words just seem to flow so softly and come together with such poise. One can almost feel the gentle blowing of a soft breeze and hear the chimes of music as it flows through the air. Her poetic voice as she recited poetry to us all as children glistened as if golddust was tingling to the ground.
Oh yes Our Mother will be missed. Sweet kisses she use to place in our hands as we layed down to sleep,or when she would have to leave us.This is how I will always remember her.
Her wonderful memories as Nana. Bedtime stories were told and I pray they will continue to be told of Rainbow Chicken and Waldo the Wolf.

Her legacy
Me and Jim
I write this for all those who have heard Nana recite this poem and just cannot remember it

Me and Jim

We were both brought up in a country town was Me and Jim
The whole world seemed to Frown on Me and Him
In school we were never Given a chance to learn that Africa wasn't in France
Patches we wore on the seats of our pants did Me and Jim

We grew up harty hail and strong
Knew every note in the thrushes song
we knew where the robins built thier nest
and why spring crept over the mountains crest
and why the robins had a scarlet vest
did me and Jim

We fell in love as most folks do
after the same girl tho we two
Jim poped the question
she answered no
She wouldn't have me and she told me so

The war broke out in 42
we fought for the same company just us two

A bullit caught my dear friend Jim
 I returned with him

Met up with that girl we loved so
I told her how Jim faught and died
Cuddled her cause she cried
I kissed her but I kissed her for Jim

We were married in late spring
a baby up coming we searched around for a proper name
His memory comming fresh up again
WE NAMED HIM JIM!!!
